Canon IR2525 photocopier drum, toner wiper, damaged charging shaft can cause black prints, faint prints, prints with black streaks, prints with faint streaks. At this time, you need to replace the entire drum unit or replace each component in the drum unit.

This is very simple if you replace the entire drum unit. If you want to save costs, you can replace any damaged components.

To replace each component in the drum unit, we proceed to remove the drum unit from the machine.

Below is a picture of a drum assembly with a damaged drum and a damaged high voltage shaft.

First you need to remove the locking cap covering the drum head.

Remove the drum head retaining bushing.

Remove the drum shaft pin.

Now you can take the drum out.

Remove the 2 screws to remove the ink wiper.

Remove 2 screws to remove the ink wiper. Remove the high voltage charging shaft to replace with a new one. Then reassemble as before.
