Recently (July 5), the OPPO Reno12 Series product line was officially launched in the market. Unbox OPPO Reno12 F 5G

As usual, the OPPO Reno12 F 5G box is still prominently designed with the model number of the Reno series – number 12. The box color is also quite basic with white tones and the words OPPO Reno12 F 5G.

Good news for users as OPPO has not yet cut any accessories inside the product box.

When users open the box, they will still receive the complete package: User manual, SIM stick, back cover and 80W charger included.

Design and appearance of OPPO Reno12 F 5G

Among the three OPPO Reno12 Series products launched this year, OPPO Reno12F 5F is the lowest-end device, but I feel it stands out more when compared to the other two versions.

The device still retains a thin and light appearance with extremely unique and beautiful back patterns. This back surface is finished in a matte finish, helping to minimize the retention of hand sweat when using the device bare.

The camera cluster is placed in a rectangular module – this camera cluster design is becoming increasingly familiar with smartphone models from Chinese brands.

It can be seen that the edges of the Reno12 F 5G are beveled flat like the vast majority of mid-range smartphones in the past few years.

However, OPPO is also very delicate as it has slightly curved edges, which helps give users a more comfortable and pleasant grip.

OPPO Reno12 F 5G still inherits the characteristics of the previous Reno series – thinness and lightness. The product has dimensions of only 163.1 x 75.8 x 7.76 mm, weighs about 187 grams and is only 7.69mm thick.

Screen

The most impressive point on the OPPO Reno12 F 5G is the screen with a maximum brightness of up to 2,100 nits. Of course, this number announced by OPPO is only achieved in certain pixels, in certain environments.

The second camera supports wide-angle photography with 8MP f/2.2 resolution. Finally, there is a sensor that supports “2-dot” portrait photography and LED flash.

One thing I quite like about this lens cluster is that it is finished with a metal protective rim, giving it a quite luxurious feeling similar to other high-end devices. In particular, this camera cluster has very little protrusion.

This helps to limit scratches and makes cleaning the lens easier.

How is the performance and battery on OPPO Reno12 F 5G?
