There are two blades inside the protective ring that is quite hard made of stainless steel. Even though it rotates several thousand revolutions per minute, the motor is quite quiet and has no noise.
The machine is not water resistant, so absolutely wash and soak. However, when used for a long time, you can remove it to clean and wash the blade. Using the type port is quite convenient when charging with many other devices.
If you just trim it for a few days, you only need to fully charge it and it can be used for 6 months. Afterwards, the battery runs out. In short , I’m quite satisfied with it. It stops the problem of pulling nose hairs quite a bit, or using scissors can cause bleeding if you’re not careful.
