Exynos 2100 will be Samsung-powered chipset on the Galaxy S21 series, as well as flagship models to be released next year.
Galaxy S21 Snapdragon version 875 recently found on Geekbench performance scoring platform. Meanwhile, the Exynos 2100 chip variant of this handset also appeared on Geekbench two months ago. If you compare the results between the two, you might think that Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 875 is superior.

However, it seems that after a long period of development, Samsung has made quite a few changes and improvements on the Exynos 2100, greatly improving its performance compared to the previous time. According to leak specialist Ice Universe, the Exynos 2100 currently can completely beat the Snapdragon 875.
If you did not know, both Snapdragon 875 and Exynos 2100 are manufactured on 5nm process, have the same architecture and use the same ARM Cortex-X1, three Cortex-A78 cores and four Cortex-A55 cores .
However, Ice Universe says their clock is completely different. Specifically, the Exynos 2100’s Cortex-X1 core will have a maximum clock speed of 2.91 GHz, three Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.81 GHz, and four Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2.21 GHz.
Meanwhile, the Snapdragon 875 has Cortex-X1 cores running at 2.84 GHz, three Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.42 GHz, and four Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 1.8 GHz. By comparison, it can be seen that the clocks at all 8 cores of the Exynos 2100 are faster than the Snapdragon 875.
According to the latest leak from Geekbench, the Galaxy S21 Snapdragon 875 version scored 1120 points single-core and 3319 multi-core points. Meanwhile, the Geekbench two-month-ago score of the Exynos 2100 Galaxy S21 is only 1038 single-core and 3060 multi-core.
Even so, leak specialist Ice Universe suggests that the Snapdragon 875 will soon be beaten by the Exynos 2100, thanks to a number of improvements brought in by Samsung – helping it achieve a multi-core performance score of up to 4000 points. . However, it is unclear where this figure was obtained from Ice Universe. If this number is true, it is clear that the performance of the Exynos 2100 is really impressive.
