iPhone 12 Pro Max, Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra, and Huawei Mate 40 Pro all have extremely premium designs. In it, Apple mobile has a glass back with Ceramic Shield protection and stainless steel frame. The Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra comes with an attractive transparent glass back and an aluminum frame. The Huawei Mate 40 Pro also has a leather back version that is loved by a lot of people.
In terms of water resistance, the iPhone 12 Pro Max is the winner because it can survive up to 6 meters for 30 minutes. Huawei Mate 40 Pro also has IP68 certification but it can only survive at a depth of 1.5 meters for 30 minutes, while the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra does not offer any kind of certification for water and dust resistance.
The most interesting display belongs to Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra. This phone can display one billion colors and has a 120Hz refresh rate. However, this doesn’t mean that the Mi 10 Ultra has the best display quality out of the three smartphones available today. The iPhone 12 Pro Max is actually better in terms of image quality and it even has higher brightness, but unfortunately it doesn’t support high refresh rates.
The screen on the Huawei Mate 40 Pro is inferior to the other two models because it offers lower display quality and the refresh rate also stops at 90Hz. Note that the Huawei Mate 40 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max can rely on 3D facial recognition for authentication, while on the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra you will experience the in-display fingerprint sensor.
Hardware and software
The Kirin 9000 5G chipset found on the Huawei Mate 40 Pro has the same performance as the A14 Bionic, but the iPhone 12 Pro Max offers very fast and smoother performance thanks to iOS 14. Despite having a weak chipset More than (Snapdragon 865), the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra is more attractive than the Huawei Mate 40 Pro because it has up to 16GB of RAM (instead of just 8GB as on its rival) and up to 512GB of internal UFS 3.1 memory.
Also, it should be noted that Huawei Mate 40 Pro does not use Google services, so this will be a pretty big minus for Huawei for global users.
The cameras of these three phones are quite similar in quality and promise to give users great photos in almost any lighting condition.
However, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro camera is rated slightly better than the other 2 models. The phone has a 50MP main camera with omnidirectional autofocus and comes with the help of a laser focus sensor. Additionally, it comes with a 12MP periscope lens with 5x optical zoom and a 20MP super wide-angle lens.
While the Huawei Mate 40 Pro offers better image quality, the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra has better zoom capabilities.
The Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra has the biggest battery, but the Huawei Mate 40 Pro can last longer on a single charge in some cases. That’s because Huawei mobile phones have screens that support lower refresh rates and a more energy efficient 5nm chipset. Despite having the smallest battery of the 3 smartphones today, but thanks to the optimization of iOS 14, the battery life of the iPhone 12 Pro Max will not be inferior to the other two models.
When it comes to fast charging, the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra wins out over its 120W technology.
The Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra is only available in China for $ 1,000, the iPhone 12 Pro Max starts at $ 1,099 globally, and the Huawei Mate 40 Pro’s price starts at $ 1,012. Overall, there is no winning smartphone in today’s comparison.
If you need a device with high-end design, powerful performance, and realistic camera, then obviously iPhone 12 Pro Max is the best choice.
If you are a gamer then choose the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra without having to think much because of its 120Hz screen. If you need a smartphone that takes beautiful photos and does not care much about Google services, the Mate 40 Pro is a relatively affordable choice.
