On each laptop before it is shipped, the manufacturer will usually have a set of copyrighted windows built into the laptop with the machine itself. But what must be done is to be able to return to the original operating system when the computer is already running Windows. – Backup the recovery partition to USB or CD

• Need to prepare: a USB with a capacity of about 32GB or a DVD (the number of discs depends on the model of the device).

You press the Windows + Q key combination and then enter the search box with the phrase HP recovery and then copy it into the first box on the left of the screen

At the window of HP Recovery Manager software , click on Recovery Media Creation

If the device has been recorded in recovery once before, the following warning will appear. And you won't be able to record anything more

If it is the first time you do it, the window shown on the screen as follows will appear and to be able to proceed with the process to record the recovery. Then click I accept and then click on recovery

Next will show the tools needed to be able to perform Recovery recording. For example, there is a case where you need a 32Gb USB or 6 DVDs or 3 Double Layer DVDs.

Plug in the USB or insert the DVD, then click Yes to proceed with the recovery process.

The program will do the following: Click on Preparo Data (2nd line) -> Burn Data (3rd line) -> Verity Disc (4th line)

If you use a DVD disc after burning a disc, a message will appear as shown, take out the disc and insert a new disc and click OK.

When the recording is successful, a message board will be displayed on the screen

– Recovery

Note: must plug the Adapter (battery charger) into the HP computer while performing Recovery

• Recovery when the device still has a recovery partition

Restart the computer and you repeatedly press the F11 key before the laptop screen appears the windows icon

When you see the computer screen showing the choose your keyboard layout table , do the following:

You go to select US then click on Troubleshoot , then select Recovery manager

When the interface of Recovery appears, do as shown below: click on Minimized image recovery -> Recovery without backing up your files -> Next

After clicking Next to let the program proceed with Recovery. Recovery time takes about 35-45 minutes

When done, a message will appear Minimized Image recovery , then select continue, the computer will restart and install the necessary drivers and applications for the laptop to complete the recovery process.

• Recovery from USB or DVD (the case of pressing the shortcut has no effect and the recovery partition is lost)

Plug in the recovery USB or insert the recovery DVD into the computer

Restart the Hp laptop and press the F9 key repeatedly until the Boot Menu appears (USB CD/DVD ROM driver (UEFI)

Select the corresponding USB or DVD drive in the Boot Menu and press the Enter key to select

The recovery interface will appear on the system recorevy panel, click on run program from hard drive and then click Next

When the interface of Recovery appears, do as shown below: click on Minimized image recovery -> Recovery without backing up your files -> Next

After clicking Next to let the program proceed with Recovery. Recovery time takes about 35-45 minutes

When done, a message will appear Minimized Image recovery , then select continue , the computer will restart and install the necessary drivers and applications for the laptop to complete the recovery process.

If you use a DVD to recover, when a disc is finished running, a message will appear and just click Next , asking to remove the disc and insert the next disc. The process will continue until the last disc runs out.
