No numbering errors on the laptop keyboard can be caused by many things. Some of the common causes can include the numeric keypad is turned off, the driver is old or the error or the keyboard circuit problem. To solve the error can not type in the number on the left keyboard , users can refer to the following ways of handling:
1. Re-enable Numlock key
As mentioned above, one of the reasons why the laptop keyboard cannot type a numeric key could be due to the NumLock key being disabled or disabled without you noticing. To handle this error, users just need to re-press NumLock to enable the numeric keypad.

Step 1: Click Start > Settings > Updates and Security > Troubleshoot .

5. Re-login the new user account

Step 1 : Click Start > Settings > Accounts > Family & other people < / strong>> Add someone else to this PC then follow the instructions to create a new user account.
Step 2: Reboot the laptop and log into the system as the new user and verify the problem is resolved.
